Hello, everyone!

I came here to announce the creation of a special pinterest board i created. It's for an old Romanian publication that has unique fashion and hand-made projects inspirations.

You can find the board at this link. I will also share a few pics here, but not all of them.

As you can see from the title, the title of this little publication is "almanah femeia 1980 supliment."

I took pictures of each page of the tiny magazine. There's just one page missing: the very last cover. I forgot why I didn't take a picture of that page. I may add it at a later time.

I took these pictures because i haven't seen this magazine supplement anywhere in any used-books store. I wanted more people to have access to the ideas offered in it.

The creations also get explanations and patterns that can help you re-create the items. Should you want any explanation translated to English, you should post your request here. I may add new entries for each translation and whatever else is needed.

I hate youtube's commercials!

I just came here to rant..

I hate ads or commercials or whatever else you want to call them. I can't stand them! especially on YouTube and instagram. Lately I tried hard to stay away from words like "love" or "hate", but this time? This is a time when i will use such a strong word. :(

These platforms are the social media I consume the most and this is where I see most ads. Ads outside, on the street are fine because I can easily ignore them.

The issue is that I have ad blocker installed on my browser, but it doesn't block everything. I have no idea why.

The more popular a creator is on youtube, the more ads their videos has. I tried playing 3 videos today (just earlier) and all three had 2 ads at the beginning lasting anywhere between 30sec to 1min30sec. I played another video that had 3 ads at the start, and then when it started to play, a few minutes in, another ad of about 1 min.

I can't take this anymore! I gave up owning a TV set because of all the commercials. But man, was i wrong to think I got rid of them!

Youtube was NOT meant for ads. However, they thought they can make more money out them, so they have as many as playing as humanly possible. >_< Only because these youtubers got greedy and rely heavily on ad revenue.

and instagram? why can't i get rid of advertising on instagram either?! Some days it's better as i see few or they blend better with the other posts. Other times, i see a commercial after every 2 or 3 normal posts.

This is NOT acceptable!

Visiting the National Museum of Art -European art-

Hello!

If you remember from a past entry, I visited the National Museum of Art of Romania for free. And I promised I'd do a second entry when I visit the other section.

The museum is split in 2 sections: Romanian art an European art, and you need to pay for each section.

I don't have much to say about this visit. This section of the museum is much smaller than the Romanian section - maybe less than half? Exploring it made me think of a maze.

I'll explain a bit more after the video.

There were many rooms, mostly because the museum is hosted at The Royal Palace. Additionally, going from one room to the other was a bit confusing - well I also had a low sugar level in my blood that day, so I was feeling quite weak.

I'm disappointed to say that the European art didn't impress me as much as the Romanian art did. The video is a quick collection of the works I liked the best.

There was a time when I wished I lived in such a big place. Not anymore - all the cleaning... remembering where to go to find the room i need... no thanks.. i barely find the stuff i need in an 1 bedroom apartment, let alone a huge palace like that.
